RENZO on Leonard Street, Shoreditch, has fresh art, staff up for discussing Wu Tang, and mysterious Chop Suey neon (not to mention cold brew on tap). Masterminded by Lorenzo himself, it’s more than your regular coffee spot.
You can’t miss RENZO’s art collection. Greg Owen’s colourful graphic illustrations (@gregowen_) hang out next to Kelly Anna’s bold figurative prints (@kellyannalondon). Check out the work by Olivia Healy (@oliviamhealy) and Polly Williams as well. Plus, it’s all for sale so if something catches your eye mid cappuccino you can ask the staff for prices.
Feed your appetite whilst you feast your eyes. RENZO’s salads are made with maximum flavour and minimum food waste. Constantly on rotation, you’ll find something new each visit. Need to see it to believe the hype? Take a look at their Insta (@renzo_leonardstreet) for banterous chat and serious food porn. As if buzzy Shoreditch wasn’t enough, the guys also run Eleven in Balham where they explore delicious food in a slightly more boujee way – sans white table cloths of course.
Loved by their super regulars, RENZO has a chilled, welcoming vibe. Meetings take place to a back drop of Hip Hop and RnB, and Cal and Grace working behind the counter were happy to give us a few tune recommendations. Strictly no ‘Can I Kick It’ by A Tribe Called Quest though – Cal’s not keen.
RENZO isn’t one to miss so next time you’re in Shoreditch, drop in for a cold brew and say hi to Lorenzo from us.
